While you visit the Winchester Mystery House, you can learn about Sarah Winchester, the woman behind the building of the expansive house, as well as her family and the mystery that continues to puzzle people to this day. Visitors of the house can choose from a number of different tours of the grounds. The Grand Estate Tour lasts over 2 hours and takes visitors not only on a tour of the house but a tour of what goes on behind-the-scenes to make the tours a success. Another tour visitors can opt to go on is the Mansion Tour, which allows you to tour 110 of the 160 rooms that make up the house. The Winchester Mystery House also offers flash light tours and will soon open for Halloween Fright Nights starting in 2012.
