“Hotels with a Heart Program” Appreciates Camino Inn & Suites Generosity
The Camino Inn & Suites in Mountain View, California, was recently acknowledged with a Certificate of Appreciation for their participation in the Hotels with a Heart Program run by the nearby Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. Hotels with a Heart was created to help families that do not have the financial means to afford hotel accommodations when they must stay near the hospital while their young children are having operations or undergoing other types of medical treatment.It is difficult enough on the young patients and their families to have to deal with serious medical issues without having to worry how they can afford a simple hotel room.Without the program, families may be forced to sleep in the hospital waiting rooms while they wait to see their sick or injured child. Thanks to the generous support of Silicon Valley and Bay area hotels like the Camino Inn & Suites, the Hotels with a Heart program has been a wonderful success.In 2011, the Camino Inn & Suites made a very generous donation of 30 nights of complimentary lodging for patients and families that had a true need for some help paying for accommodations.The Mountain View hotel has also entered the Circle of Courage which is reserved for donors that contribute at least $1,000 in service (rooms) or other aid that benefits Hotels with a Heart.While it is nice to be personally acknowledged and recognized for their involvement with the Hotels with a Heart program, the Camino Inn & Suites only real motivation is to help the very deserving young patients and their families.
The family-friendly hotel located at 1984 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View offers clean, comfortable and very affordable rooms in the heart of the Silicon Valley area of California. They are a fully compliant ADA hotel and have rooms that will accommodate those with wheelchairs. The hotel is pet friendly and welcomes all service dogs.
Just a short ride from the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, guests of the hotel can get a good night’s sleep, use the business center and get a deluxe continental breakfast every morning. The Camino Inn and Suites is very happy to help and loves putting smiles on the faces of their young guests and their families.
