Vineyards and Wineries in Silicon Valley – The elegant David Bruce Winery

One of our favorite places is the David Bruce Winery. We recommend this winery to all our guests and the general public. The winery opened in 1964 and consists of sixteen acres of land. They also produce 60,000 cases of wine per year. Bruce Winery offers a variety of different wines to suite everybodys taste. Their featured wine is their “2000 Commemorative Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains Estate Bottled”. There were only 70 bottles of this particular wine produced. This wine was created to honor Dr. David Bruce’s 70th birthday. Also for any type of wine you could think of, there is a featured wine. For example a few more featured wines are the “2000 Santa Cruz Mountains”, the “2000 Santa Clara Valley”, the “2000 Central Coast”, and many more.

They also offer wine tasting in the “tasting room”. This room is open thursday through sunday, 11 am to 5 pm. If you are coming in a group larger then 10, you must make a reservation to assure your spot. Group tasting is ten dollars a person, and includes 5 specialty poured wines. If you enjoy David Bruce’s Winery as much as we do then you will be interested in the “Private Cellar Club”. To qualify for the “Private Cellar Club” membership you must purchase twelve bottles of wine in a years period of time. There are many benefits that are included in the membership. Some of which include, special offering, invitation to club festivals, pre-released wines, 20% off a twelve bottle purchase, 10% off on merchandise, and much more.

So as you can see there are many reasons we enjoy David Bruce’s Winery. Next time you are staying at our hotel make sure to check out David Bruce’s Winery!
